      • Observation: (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION) Scoop for ice machine by drive-thru prep area was stored by the tap of the rinsing sink. (Public Health Significance) - Storing ice scoop by the sink subjects it to contamination by splashes. If the scoop is then used, it may contaminate the ice and can cause food-borne illness.
      • Corrective Action: Ensure that the scoop for ice is stored in a sanitary manner that protects it from contamination.
    • 306 - Food premises not maintained in a sanitary condition [s. 17(1)]
      • Observation: Accumulation of food debris on the floor and below the storage pallets of walk-in freezer. (Public Health Significance) - Accumulation of food debris on the floor of food storage areas can physically cross-contaminate the stored food and may cause food-borne illness.
      • Corrective Action: Ensure that the walk in freezer is thoroughly cleaned.

      • Observation: A small gap was observed in the back door and the weather strip on the door was worn off towards the corner of the door. Improper closure of the back door can lead to entrance of pests into the food premises and potentially lead to foodborne illnesses.
      • Corrective Action: The operator to get the weather strip on the back door repaired to eliminate any conditions that could allow entry of pests into the food facility.
