      • The cupboard under the sink in the 2nd floor serving kitchen had some water damage and the surface was no longer impervious to moisture.-Please refinish the cupboard so it is impervious to moisture and easy to clean.

      • There was a small hole in the wall around the mop sink tap.-Please seal the hole.
    • 22. Are utensils and equipment maintained in a condition and a manner that ensures the safe handling of food?
      • Plates were stored uncovered on a counter beside the elevator on the 3rd floor.-Please cover any plates or utensils that are being stored in the temporary dining areas so they are protected from contamination.

      • Dry foods in the dry storage room were stored in uncleanable cardboard boxes, some of the boxes were dirty and many of the boxes had a buildup of food debris.-Discard cardboard boxes and obtain cleanable bins to store food products.
    • 21. Is the facility properly constructed and maintained in a state of good repair to allow for the safe and sanitary handling of food?
      • 1. The tap on the mop sink was leaking.-Please repair the leak.2. There was a small hole in the wall around the mop sink tap.-Please seal the hole.3. The electrical outlet cover was broken in the janitor room.-Please replace the cover.
    • 22. Are utensils and equipment maintained in a condition and a manner that ensures the safe handling of food?
      • 1. The surface on two of the plastic transport carts was damaged and the carts were no longer easy to clean.-Please replace the damaged carts.2. Metal trays were stored on the bottom shelf close to the floor.-Please store trays in a location where they are protected from contamination.

      • There was some debris build up in the following areas:a) on the floor under the storage racks in the dry storage roomb) on the bottom shelf of the prep counter where food cans were stored by the walk-in cooler.-Please thoroughly clean the noted areas room.

    • 10. Are food temperatures during storage and processing being controlled to maximize food safety?
      • The refrigerator along the prep line was at 15-16 degrees Celsius and internal food temperatures were between 13-16 degrees Celsius. The thermometer in the refrigerator was not reading proper temperature.-All high-risk foods stored in the refrigerator were discarded at the time of inspection.-Directed staff to place an out of order sign on the refrigerator and not store anything in the refrigerator until it is repaired and maintaining 4 degrees Celsius or less.-Please obtain a new thermometer for monitoring the temperature of the refrigerator.
    • 16. Is the facility free of unapproved animals, vermin and/or insects (unless noted elsewhere), and maintained to prevent the entry or harbourage of pests?
      • Two cockroaches nymphs were seen on the traps under the hand wash sink in the main kitchen.-Continue to follow the advice of the pest control company to treat and eradicate. Please also provide a copy of the most recent pest control record.
    • 21. Is the facility properly constructed and maintained in a state of good repair to allow for the safe and sanitary handling of food?
      • The tap was dripping on the hand wash sink at the entrance to the kitchen.-Please repair the tap.
