      • There was a hole in the wall behind the bathroom door.
    • 24. Are sleeping supplies and areas sufficient to ensure client safety and comfort (Non-Critical)?
      • The cots in the baby room (Europe Room) were positioned against the wall and in contact with one another. This was corrected during the inspection.
    • 29. Are washrooms / bathing facilities properly constructed, maintained and supplied (Non-Critical)?
      • The washroom, in the Africa Room, did not have toilet paper. This was corrected during the inspection.
    • 32. Are general nuisance conditions, other than those noted in other violations, being prevented at this child care facility (Non-Critical)?
      • The diapering stations/pads were observed to be loose and were tightened and secured during the inspection.

      • Build up duct is observed on overhead heating system steel pipes. Operator is advised to clean these and maintain clean.

    • 06. Are proper protocols being followed in regards to client care?
      • The diapering surfaces in the pre-school 1 & 2 rooms had no safety belts. Please replace the missing belts.
    • 18. Is the facility and equipment being maintained in a suitable manner (Non-Critical)?
      • A light fixture in the toddler 1 room was missing a protective cover.Please replace the missing cover.
    • 32. Are general nuisance conditions, other than those noted in other violations, being prevented at this child care facility (Non-Critical)?
      • The concentration of bleach disinfectant solution in spray bottles through the facility was too strong and bleached out test strips. A wrong mixing instruction was placed on the bottles. The staff were educated on proper mixing procedure.1000ppm is required during an outbreak and 100ppm for normal operations.
