      • Observation: Ice machine in the basement has mildew growth inside.
      • Corrective Action(s): Fully empy the ice machine of all ice.
      • Clean with soap and water, all of the parts inside
      • Spray with sanitizer
      • Allow it to refill over night by Tuesday Jan 13

      • Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Sanitizer bucket at 0ppm Quats
      • Corrective Action(s): Dispenser allowed to run for a few seconds then checked and found to be at 200ppm, Ensure sanitizer bucket is changed requently to ensure the concentration is correct.

      • Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Paper towel dispenser on the cook line and basement hand sink both had no paper towels.
      • Paper towel dispenser by back door doesn't appear to be working properly
      • Corrective Action(s): Ensure all hand sinks are always equipment with soap and papertowels. When they run, out refill them immediately so staff can properly wash their hands.

    • 209 - Food not protected from contamination [s. 12(a)]
      • Observation: 1) Drain for the walk in cooler upstairs is pooling on the floor.
      • 2) Food and food supplies are not protected from contamination. Onions, rice, brown sugar, coffee filters all sitting open in the basement. This attracts rodents and other pests.
      • Corrective Action(s): 1) Clear the drain or repair drain so it properly drains. Water cannot be left to pool on the floor in the walk in cooler. Repair by Tuesday Jan 13/26
      • 2) Place all food and food supplies in plastic bins to protect from possible rodents and to not attract rodents from entering the restaurant. Place all items in plastic containers by Tuesday Jan 13/26

      • Observation: Raw wood shelves installed around glass washer
      • Corrective Action(s): Ensure shelves are painted or sealed to ensure they are easily cleanable by July 25/25

    • 302 - Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces not properly washed and sanitized [s. 17(2)]
      • Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Quats spray bottle at 0ppm
      • Corrective Action(s): Staff MUST change each and every spray bottle daily to ensure product is at the correct concentration. If there's no chemical in the bottle then it is not sanitizing the surfaces.

      • 401 - Adequate handwashing stations not available for employees [s. 21(4)]
      • Observation: 1) Hand sink at waitress station has had the paper towel dispenser removed so a computer screen could be installed.
      • 2) Hand sink on cookline has no soap dispenser and no paper towel dispenser, both have been removed to install another computer scren
      • 3) Hand sink in prep area of kitchen has been completely removed, in order to move equipment around however it has not been reinstalled. Soap dispenser for this sink has also been removed and paper towel dispenser that is on the wall is empty.
      • 4) Bar hand sink does not have soap and paper towels in a dispenser, the sink in the corner of the bar was approved as the hand sink not the sink by the glasswasher as that was a drink dump station.
      • Corrective Action(s): 1) Remove screen from wall above waitress station and re-install paper towel dispenser today, June 18 2025
      • 2) Remove computer screen from wall above cookline hand sink and reinstall soap dispenser and paper towel dispenser today, June 18 2025
      • 3) Hand sink in prep area of kitchen must be reinstalled along with the soap dispenser today, June 18 2025
      • 4) Bar hand sink must have soap and paper towels in a dispenser by today, June 18 2025

      • 402 - Employee does not wash hands properly or at adequate frequency [s. 21(3)]
      • Observation: Due to a lack of hand washing sinks, soap and paper towels kitchen staff were observed moving between tasks without washing hands at an appropriate frequency. Staff observed wearing gloves and not washing hands or changing gloves
      • Corrective Action(s): Educate staff on proper hand washing, recommend more staff with Foodsafe to properly oversee staff and educate staff.
      • Staff must change their gloves and wash their hands before putting new gloves on, after opening cooler, when moving between raw food and ready to eat food, after handling dirty dishes etc

    • 305 - Conditions observed that may allow entrance/harbouring/breeding of pests [s. 26(b),(c)]
      • Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Back door open at time of inspection
      • Corrective Action(s): Unless a delivery is being dropped off the back door MUST be closed to prevent pests from entering the kitchen.

      • 308 - Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces are not in good working order [s. 16(b)]
      • Observation: 2 compartment food preparation sink does not have hot and cold running water.
      • Corrective Action(s): Re-install the plumbing so the sink provides hot and cold running water by June 18/25
