- 19. Does the facility have a valid permit and does the facility operate in compliance with the conditions of that permit, or is the facility awaiting approval prior to operation?
- It was identified that the food establishment had undergone a change in ownership and had not submitted a new food handling permit application under the current owner. This requirement was discussed onsite during a previous site visit. Following the visit, the store manager and district director were emailed and requested to complete and submit the food handling permit application. As the application was not received, a follow-up inspection was conducted. During the subsequent visit, the store manager advised that she had not seen the email and apologized for the oversight. A physical copy of the food handling permit application was completed on site during this visit.Permit application has been forwarded to the AHS permit administrator for processing. Once you receive the email from the AHS permit administrator, please post the official permit in a conspicuous location.
