    • Furniture, floors, walls and ceilings are able to be cleaned, kept clean, and in good repair.
      • Ensure floors (including carpets) are kept clean and in good repair.
      • Ensure furniture, floors, walls and/or ceilings are made of a material that is easily cleanable.

      • Ensure liquid soap in a dispenser is provided.
    • Diapering/toileting areas are kept in a clean and sanitary manner.
      • Ensure a properly labelled, appropriate disinfectant is available for sole use in the diapering/toileting area.

    • Handwashing sinks are properly equipped with required supplies and kept in a sanitary manner.
      • Ensure the dedicated handwashing sink is not used for any other purpose.
      • Ensure reusable soap dispensers are cleaned and disinfected between fillings.
    • Appropriate diapering and toileting IPAC procedures are being followed.
      • Ensure diapering procedures (including stand-up diapering and potty procedures) are posted and are being followed.
    • Appropriate cleaning and disinfecting of child care environment.
      • Ensure all surfaces, toys, equipment, chairs, cots, cribs, and/or absorbent materials are kept in good repair and can be cleaned and disinfected or laundered.
    • Proper storage of children's personal items and belongings.
      • Ensure children's personal items are appropriately labelled and stored in a manner to prevent contamination.
    • Facility kept in a clean and sanitary condition.
      • Ensure items are stored in a manner that permits cleaning and disinfecting.
