- Observation: Some mouse droppings were noted on the floor below the prep counter across from the walk-in cooler (only noted in one corner) and below the shelf holding cleaned utensils across from the laundry machine.
- Corrective Action(s): External pest control company comes in once a month. Inspection is due around next week. Sweep, clean and sanitize the abovementioned areas and continue to work with your pest control company to mitigate and eliminate pest issue.

- Observation: Some old mice droppings noted under the mainwork station across from walk in cooler. Mice droppings indicates mice present in premises. Pest control measures noted at the time of this inspection. Snap traps and live traps noted in back room and under equipment. Issue discussed with operator at the time of this inspection

- Clean droppings from under table. Ensure to use proper PPE.

Operator stated that this cutting board is not for use and only for holding dough trays in place. Operator remove the board from rack and discarded it at the time of this inspection.

- Observation: No one onsite at the time of inspection had FOODSAFE level 1. As per the food handler who was onsite at the time of inspection, her FOODSAFE level 1 certificate has expired.
- Corrective Action(s): The staff currently onsite is aware that her FOODSAFE level 1 has expired, she is looking to renewing her certificate however due to a language barrier, there has been a delay. Ensure at least one staff onsite has FOODSAFE level 1 or equivlanet. As per the Food Premises Regulation (B.C. Reg. 210/99), in the absence of the operator, at least one staff must have FOODSAFE level 1 or equivalent at all time.

Replace daily as concentration of sanitizer decreases over time and loses it effectiveness. Employees should know how to mix a proper concentration of sanitizer.
