      • Concentration of CS 20 measured 0 ppm in the soak tray during disinfection of tools. Staff stated that tools were not dried up before soaking in disinfectant.Corrective action Replace CS 20 immediately. Dry the tools before soaking in CS 20.

      • a) Combs and brushes were only cleaned and not disinfected.No barbicide was available onsite to soak combs and brushes for disinfectionb) Metal foot scraper was not fully immersed in CS 20 during disinfection.c) Nail drills were only soaked in alcohol not disinfected using high level disinfectant.Corrective action:a) Provide barbicide and soak combs and brushes in it after cleaning.b) Ensure that tools are fully immersed in CS 20 during disinfection. Use a bigger soaking container.c) Soak nail drills in high level disinfectant after cleaning and drying.
