      • -The cribs used by clients are unsatisfactory. There was too big of a gap between the mattress and crib. A crib safety sheet will be provided with the report. Please ensure that cribs meet all safety requirements.

      • -Foam rings in the Weebles Room were in poor condition; there were many missing pieces. This is a choking hazard and makes the rings hard to clean. Please remove all damaged rings.-The small plastic caps in the Weebles Room are a choking hazard. Please remove.
    • 04. Are clients at this facility being protected from hazards (Non-Critical)?
      • -Push pins were being used in the Baby and Toddler Rooms. Please remove all push pins and staples and switching to alternatives such as: tape, sticky tac, Velcro etc.
    • 08. Is this facility properly constructed (Non-Critical)?
      • -The covering along the windowsill in the Baby Room was chipped/peeling. Please repair.
    • 18. Is the facility and equipment being maintained in a suitable manner (Non-Critical)?
      • -Tape on the area rug in the Popples Room was peeling off. If tape is going to be used it needs to be replaced frequently. Please address.
    • 23. Are sleeping supplies and areas sufficient to ensure client safety and comfort (Critical)?
      • -The cribs used by clients are unsatisfactory. There was too big of a gap between the mattress and crib. A crib safety sheet will be provided with the report. Please ensure that cribs meet all safety requirements.
    • 25. Are there adequate storage areas sufficient for the operation of the facility?
      • -Diapering supplies were not being stored separate for each child. Please ensure that each child’s diapering supplies are stored completely separate.-Baby soothers were stored all in one bag in the fridge. Soothers need to be stored in separate labelled containers for each child.
