- -Gaps were observed throughout the exposed wood of the downstairs indoor gym floor. The floor cannot be effectively cleaned in its current condition and may pose safety hazards in the future. Please wax or repair the gym floor. -Cracked floor tiles and floor gaps were noted in both the boys’ and girls’ washrooms downstairs. Please repair or replace tiles.-The baseboard was coming apart in the girls washroom. Please repair or replace.-The wall tile surfaces in the washrooms are coming apart and are no longer smooth or easy to clean. Please repair or replace the affected tiles.-Several ceiling tiles with water stains and gaps were observed on the lower floor, in the main play space and kitchen. Please treat and/or replace the affected tiles.Please ensure all surfaces are smooth, durable, easily cleanable, and in good repair.

- Caulking was missing around the sinks in the boys’ and girls’ washrooms downstairs. Please seal these areas to prevent water and dirt accumulation and to facilitate easier cleaning.All surfaces should be smooth and easily to clean.
- 19. Are indoor play areas and equipment sufficient and being properly maintained to ensure client safety (Critical)?
- -The basement high-temperature dishwasher was being used for toy washing.-The dishwasher was not reaching the required sanitation temperatures. Please repair the dishwasher. Ensure that the final rinse temperature measured at the manifold is at least 82C (180 F). The program will temporarily use the two-compartment sink for toy sanitizing using a bleach sanitizer solution. Please use the dishwasher for washing only. Sanitize the sinks prior to use. Use chlorine test strips to verify the concentration of the bleach sanitizer solution (100 ppm).

- The two washrooms downstairs were not adequately sanitary or well-maintained:-Dirt buildup was observed in the corners of the walls.-Dirt buildup was noted between the tile gaps.-Walls near the paper towel dispensers were stained.Please clean the washrooms and ensure they are regularly maintained.

Please clean.-The area behind the craft sink had water damage and the panel behind the sink was coming off. Please repair/replace.-There was a loose ceiling access panel in the basement washroom. Please secure.

- -Chemicals were stored accessible to children in the main floor kitchen and kitchen doors were left open. Please ensure the chemicals are secured with a lock or kept out of children’s reach. Access to the kitchen should also be restricted; please keep doors closed. CDI

Please secure or use lower shelves.-There were missing electric outlet plug covers on some of the wall. Please ensure all outlets have covers when not in use.- The back storage area in the basement was accessible to children. Please block this area to prevent access.-Some of the area rugs in the basement were curling up which is a tripping hazard. Please address.
