- 22. Are utensils and equipment maintained in a condition and a manner that ensures the safe handling of food?
- As pointed out to the Supervisor, showed the significant accumulation of ice build-up on the exterior of the walk-in freezer door which more than likely may be due to improper/deficient rubber door seals which is allowing freezer air to escape resulting in ice build-up when the freezer air comes into contact with the refrigerated warmer air.Repair/replace as deemed necessary to prevent any further ice build-up so the door can be easily openable/closeable.JULY 2, 2026 UPDATE:Confirmed that Supervisor has reached out to the corporate maintenance department for completion of above repair work; however, the same department has yet to acknowledge when the above work will be completed.Supervisor has completed her task under her control and will wait for the maintenance department to respond.
