      • Three decorative wall shelves with glass covers were observed at the back wall of the facility. The glass used was not safety grade glass, which pose a potential injury hazard. **Ensure all glass surfaces in the facility are made of safety grade glass or otherwise protected/shielded.

      • Push pins were being used in the facility. **Please remove any potential hazardous items and consider safe alternatives to prevent injury.

      • Multiple air fresheners were observed in the left washroom. **Ensure any scented sprays or other aerosol products should not be used in the childcare environment.

      • First aid kit was not available at the time of inspection. **Ensure first aid is readily available at all times.

      • 1. The exterior stairs located at the front of the house were missing hand railing on the left side. 2. The right-side hand railing was not secured properly. **Ensure the handrails are installed when there are two or more steps. **Ensure handrails are secured and maintained in good repair to ensure safety of children.

      • No disinfectant was present onsite at the time of inspection. **Ensure an approved disinfectant is present onsite at all times to disinfect high touch areas.
