- 02. Is the bacteriological quality of the water in this pool satisfactory (Critical)?
- The sample collected on June 3, 2026 showed presence of total coliforms. Other than some cleanup, no shock chlorination was carried out immediately and the pool was shocked on June 1, 2026. The pool operator reported that the free available chlorine level was raised to 20ppm and maintained for more than 24 hours. Guidelines were emailed to the facility manager. Ensure that pools be closed and disinfection procedures be carried out immediately when this kind of incident happens. Incidents must be properly recorded as well.

- Whirlpool water sample collected on Jan 2, 2024, was unsatisfactory: - Pseudomonas - ISOLATEDThe whirlpool should be closed to the public until the instructions on page 2 of the Pseudomonas aeruginosa Information Sheet (provided) have been completed.Once these steps have been completed, and the water chemistry re-balanced - the whirlpool can be re-opened to the public.Resample on Tuesday Jan 9, 2024, or Monday January 8 if able.
