      • Corrective Action(s): Remove droppings, then sanitize these areas with a 1000ppm bleach solutuion. Bleach solution will help to remove rodent scents.

      • 2. Back handwashing station observed lacking hand soap.
      • Handwashing station must always be fully equipped with hot and cold running water, soap, and paper towels. Soap has been replaced.

      • General cleaning required on the floor and under shelves in dry storage

      • Food/debris can attract rodents
      • Corrective Action(s): Seal all possible entry points to reduce likelihood of rodents entering the building
      • Install screens on all outside doors if left open for ventilation
      • Clean up debris and store food in sealed containers to remove food sources for rodents

      • Corrective Action(s): Staff remade at 200ppm chlorine but re-made with soap. Re-made again without soap. Sanitizing buckets are only to contact water and sanitizer, no soap. Ensure are staff are aware of this.

      • Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Soup in front hot holding unit probed at 55C. Staff informed that temperature knob had been turned down at the end of shift last night. When this was noted this morning, the knob was turned to max. Soup is brought to a simmer in a pot on the stove prior to placing in hot holding unit. Soup had been in unit for less than 2 hours.
      • Corrective Action(s): Within 20 mins, the soup was re-probed at 65C. Always ensure that temperature knob is at correct setting and hot holding unit is preheated prior to placing hot soup in unit.

      • Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Bleach/water bucket at front had no chlorine in it at time of inspection. According to staff, soap had likely been placed in the bucket this morning and no bleach.
      • Corrective Action(s): Staff remade up bucket to 200ppm chlorine.

      • Observation: Pest control report on Aug 29/17 that was emailed to EHO showed rodents were caught. No signs of pests at time of inspection. Traps in place inside and bait traps in place outside.
      • Corrective Action(s): CORRECTION ORDER still in place. Continue to have pest control company monitor rodents weekly until there are three clear weeks of reports. After that, have pest control company monitor facility monthly. Continue to submit reports to EHO and ensure all pest control reports are kept on site.
