    • 03. Is all food in this facility fit for human consumption and not unwholesome, spoiled, or adulterated?
      • A few shelved food cans were indented where it was affecting the top and side seams. The violation was corrected immediately and all the affected cans were removed during the inspection.
    • 04. Does the operator use approved methods for cleaning and sanitizing equipment, utensils, and surfaces?
      • The sanitizer solution of QUATs in the bakery area and the salad bar area concentration was at 50ppm. When told, the manager asked the staff to correct the violation and to have a fresh solution that test at 200ppm.
    • 13. Are properly operating hand washing sink(s) accessible to food handlers, located in suitable areas, and stocked with appropriate hand washing supplies?
      • One of the two hand washing sinks by the seafood area was lacking paper towels. The violation was corrected promptly by the manager.

      • In the seafood area, the fish were thawed/ cleaned in the three-compartment sink (the sanitization sink). the fish was not placed in a container for thawing as well. Instructions were provided on best practices for thawing which the operator agreed to implement immediately.

      • The wall tile in the bakery appears to have been filled in. Two light covers at the end of the produce cooler are still in disrepair.

      • The handwashing sink in the seafood department was not stocked with paper towels. The operator promptly stocked the sink with paper towels.
