      • Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Some canned products were heavily dented and damaged.
      • Corrective Action(s): Discard heavily damaged canned products as the can seams can be compromised. Ensure to reject any damaged food products when receiving. Microorganisms may enter the foods via opening of seams. Chemicals can also leach in to the food.

      • 305 - Conditions observed that may allow entrance/harbouring/breeding of pests [s. 26(b),(c)]
      • Observation: 1) Spilled foods noted under many aisles (eg, raw rice, sugar, etc.)
      • 2) Mop bucket contained stale water.
      • Corrective Action(s): 1) Clean spilled foods regularly. Sanitation under the aisles must be improved to discourage pest activity.

      • 2) Empty out the mop bucket at the end of every shifts to avoid attracting flies (eg. drain flies)
