    • 04. Are clients at this facility being protected from hazards (Non-Critical)?
      • Store the cleaning/ sanitizing chemicals in locked cabinets or at the higher shelves inaccessible to children.
    • 18. Is the facility and equipment being maintained in a suitable manner (Non-Critical)?
      • Chips were observed on the tables and benches, exposing bare wood and posing a potential sliver hazard.Please repair the tables and benches to ensure the surfaces are smoother, easily cleanable, and impervious to contaminants.June 10th, 2026: Violation was still pending.Operator mentioned that as the furniture is school property, Childcare has limitations on its repairs/replacement decision.**As the exposed bare wood was mostly on the corner of the windows/ benches, options were discussed to cover them with corner cover guards**.
    • 27. Are proper measures being taken to ensure that vermin do not enter or exist in the facility (Non-Critical)?
      • The weather stripping for exit door of the facility was not properly sealed to the ground leaving a gap.Ensure to repair/replace the weather stripping to prevent any pest entry.
    • 32. Are general nuisance conditions, other than those noted in other violations, being prevented at this child care facility (Non-Critical)?
      • The disinfectant provided by the school for surfaces disinfection was expired with expiry date of 2023.Concerns were addressed by making bleach solution at 100 ppm for disinfection.** Please note that the disinfectant in use by the school management is Quats based sanitizer, kindly switch to bleach at 1000ppm during an outbreak.

      • Chips were observed on the tables and benches, exposing bare wood and posing a potential sliver hazard.Please repair the tables and benches to ensure the surfaces are smoother, easily cleanable, and impervious to contaminants.
    • 25. Are there adequate storage areas sufficient for the operation of the facility?
      • Children's bags, jackets, and other belongings were observed to be stored on the floor and in direct contact with one another.Please ensure children's belongings are stored separately to prevent potential cross-contamination. Acceptable options include baskets or containers with smooth surfaces that can be disinfected, single-use bags, or reusable bags that are laundered weekly. Other suitable alternatives may be discussed with the undersigned PHI.
    • 32. Are general nuisance conditions, other than those noted in other violations, being prevented at this child care facility (Non-Critical)?
      • Test strips for the chlorine disinfectant was expired.Please obtain test strips within their expiry date to verify the concentration of the chlorine solution.
