      • Observation: Food in indercounter cooler in the cook line measured at 10C. The cooling unit is not working. Staff stated that the unit has been broken and they keep the food cold by adding ice to the inserts.
      • Corrective Action(s): Do not store any perishable food in this cooler until is repaired. Repair or replace the unit so that it can hold the food temperature at or below 4C.

      • Corrective Action(s): Thoroughly clean and sanitize areas affected by mice droppings. Use chlorine solution 1000ppm to sanitize floors. Ensure the food containers are pest proof. Ensure there are no food debris left on the ground during night time.
      • Seal all wholes and crevasses so that possible mice enterances are blocked.
      • Set effective traps to reduce and control mice problem.
      • Contact your pest control company and enquire an effective solution to control mice issue.

      • Observation: Walk-in freezer has been out of service since June 19, 2022. No food observed in the unit at the time of inspection. Frozen food is now stored in 2 upright freezer. It was stated that some frozen food was transported off-site due to spacing issue.
      • Corrective Action(s): 1- Repair or replace walk-in freezer as it is needed to answer the menu demand in the restaurant and in order to handle food safely. Or add more freezer units in order to store frozen food safely.

      • Corrective Action(s): Repair the flat top/oven unit so that meat juices do not leak into the body of the oven inside. This could also expose the foods to contamination from grill cleaning chemicals ( Immediately). Ensure to check for leaks every time this unit is used.

      • Corrective Action(s): Repair or replace the bug screen on the screen door. Alternately, the back door must be kept closed to prevent entry of pests.

      • Observation: 1 White upright cooler near the dry storage room registered 7 degrees C at the time of inspection. All potentially hazardous items were trannsferred to the walk-in cooler during the inspection.
      • 2. Salad preparation cooler in the front serving area at 6.8 degrees C ( lunch rush??).
      • Corrective Action(s): 1. Repair or adjust the white upright cooler so that it maintains 4 degrees C or below. Do not store any potentially hazardous foods untill it is capable of maintaining 4 C or below.( immediately).
      • 2. Continue to monitor the salad preparation cooler and repair as needed to ensure it maintains 4 C or below ( immediately)
      • **Right hand side door on the line cooler across from the grill is broken. Ensure to repair the door so that it closes properly. Check and replace the door gaskets as required ( July 15, 2019).
