- Observation: (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION) Syrup with a label "Refrigerate after opening" was found on a dry storage shelf.
- Corrective Action: Syrup was discared during inspection. Review products prior to reopening to ensure they are stored appropriately and have not expired or reached their best-before date.
- 401 - Critical Adequate handwashing stations not available for employees [s. 21(4)]
- Observation: (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION) Outdoor BBQ does not have a fully equipped handwashing station. All food prep areas must have an acessible handwashing station to reduce risk of cross-contamination.
- Corrective Action: Set up a temporary handwashing station by the BBQ area when it is in use. Ensure it is supplied with paper towels and soap.
- 404 - Employee smoking in food preparation/processing/storage areas [s. 21(2)]
- Observation: (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION) Cigerettes and an ashtray was found by a table next to the BBQ.
- Corrective Action: Move the smoking station to 6 meters of doorways, food prep areas and open windows during operation.
