    • 21. Is the facility properly constructed and maintained in a state of good repair to allow for the safe and sanitary handling of food?
      • A handwashing sink installed near the ice cream is not connected to the sewage system by plumbing and is noted to have a bucket placed under the sink to catch water from the basin. The sink must be properly plumbed into the sewage system and must not be used until it is properly plumbed in.

    • 14. Does the facility have an adequate supply of potable hot and cold running water and is the water sampled at required intervals?
      • A water sample has been submitted and shows the presence of Coliforms. Spoke with owner and discussed results and advised to submit a re-sample. Owner advised that they will not be serving ice cream until they have submitted another sample.

    • 02. Is all food in this facility from an approved source and/or properly labelled?
      • Some foods including some steak dinners in the freezer are being sold from an operator not holding a food handling permit.Ensure that all foods sold at the facility are from approved and inspected sources. Operator was instructed to remove the indicated food items from sale to the public.
    • 14. Does the facility have an adequate supply of potable hot and cold running water and is the water sampled at required intervals?
      • A water sample submitted is showing presence of Total Coliforms. Water must be potable and free of total Coliforms. Results are briefly discussed with operator. A re-sample needs to be submitted.
