    • 08. Do food handlers ensure that food is protected from contamination (unless noted elsewhere)(Non-Critical)?
      • Open personal drink was on counter near cutting board. Keep open personal drinks away from food/food preparation areas. Corrected during inspection.
    • 22. Are utensils and equipment maintained in a condition and a manner that ensures the safe handling of food?
      • Ice scoops were being stored directly on top of the ice machine. Store them in a clean container or tray. Corrected during inspection.

    • 05. Do food handlers refrain from handling food while ill and have acceptable attire and hygiene?
      • Some foodhandlers were wearing bracelets. The bracelets are to either be removed or covered (with glove). Corrected during inspection.
    • 16. Is the facility free of unapproved animals, vermin and/or insects (unless noted elsewhere), and maintained to prevent the entry or harbourage of pests?
      • There were a couple of mouse droppings behind the washer/dryer in the laundry room. Please remove the droppings and clean and sanitize the area.
    • 22. Are utensils and equipment maintained in a condition and a manner that ensures the safe handling of food?
      • Jacket and helmet hung on shelf with clean aprons and cloths. Store separately. Corrected during inspection.
  3. Risk Management Inspection

    • 12. Are there adequate and properly operating dish washing facilities to effectively clean and sanitize equipment and utensils (unless noted elsewhere)(Non-Critical)?
      • No min/max waterproof thermometer for checking rinse water temperature at dish level. To be at least 71C at dish level (was at least 71C when check during inspection). Wad advised the thermometer is on order.
    • 21. Is the facility properly constructed and maintained in a state of good repair to allow for the safe and sanitary handling of food?
      • Some of the caulking behind the spray sink in the dishpit area is moldy. Please replace.
