- Ventilation in the staff washroom does not appear to be in working order. Ensure ventilation is in working order.
- 21. Is the facility properly constructed and maintained in a state of good repair to allow for the safe and sanitary handling of food?
- Tile flooring in front of tandoori grill has a "dip" that can be a trip hazard for staff. Discussed with owner that this is to be addressed for safety. Flooring in and around the staff toilet appears to be peel and stick tile and in poor condition. Operator stated that they are looking to re-do the flooring here. Ensure that flooring chosen is smooth , easily cleanable and impervious to moisture.Tile walls behind the mixer has build up of staining in the grout, and near the baseboards, the grout is in poor condition. Please ensure that floors, walls, ceilings are smooth, easily cleanable and impervious to moisture. Outdoor seating area patio - deck has peeling paint. Operator stated that the deck will refinished.
