      • Skin was not being cleansed before waxing services.Ensure that skin is cleansed before waxing services.

      • CS20 is being reused over multiple days. Test strips were available but testing of CS20 was not being recorded.For each day of reuse, CS20 solution must be tested, the result recorded in/on a log. If concentration is satisfactory and the visual inspection of the solution is satisfactory, the solution may be used that day.

      • Pieces of hair were observed in one wax pot.Discard this wax pot. Protect wax pots from contamination and discard if they become contaminated.

    • 20. Is reusable equipment disinfected properly?
      • The operator is reusing the high-level disinfectant solution for more than a day. Test strips are not available. Test strips are required to confirm the concentration of the disinfectant to ensure reusable equipment is disinfected properly. Please obtain.
    • 20. Is reusable equipment disinfected properly?
      • The operators are reusing the high-level Preempt CS20 disinfectant for more than two weeks. The manufacturer's instruction indicates a 14 day reuse period. Refrain from using the disinfectant for more than the indicated reuse period as the effectiveness of the disinfectant is not guaranteed.

      • The impeller for the pedicure basin had a buildup of debris and the pedicure basin is not disinfected. The impeller and the pedicure basin itself must be adequately cleaned and disinfected to remove contamination and prevent the growth of biofilms. Ensure the impeller is taken apart and cleaned to remove all debris. The pedicure basin and its components must be disinfected with at least a low-level disinfectant.

      • The operators are using alcohol to disinfect client surfaces. A low or intermediate level disinfectant is required for non-critical surfaces. Obtain.

      • Paper towel in bathroom not in a dispenser.-Protect bulk paper towel from contamination by offering it from a suitable dispenser
