    • 308 - Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces are not in good working order [s. 16(b)]
      • Observation: 2-compartment sink is not able to be completely shut off. Faucet is constantly leaking water. The sink must be in working order to ensure that utensils are being washed and sanitized properly and to limit cross-contamination.
      • Corrective Action: Sink must be repaired to prevent leaking of water.
    • 401 - Critical Adequate handwashing stations not available for employees [s. 21(4)]
      • Observation: No dedicated hand sink is available in deli/meat department. Staff are using the 2-compartment sink for hand washing. A lack of a dedicated hand sink introduces risk of cross-contamination between staff and food items that may lead to foodborne illness.
      • Corrective Action: A hand sink must be installed inside of the meat department.
