      • Corrective Action(s): 1. Clean up droppings, and spilt flour and other food items.

      • 3. Follow direction of pest control company to help eliminate any sources of food and/or water.

      • Observation: Once bags of flour have been opened and are placed into storage as they are not been used for a duration the opened bags need to be placed into containers with tight fitting lids. This also prevents spillage onto shelving and floor surfaces.
      • Corrective Action(s): Purchase storage containers.

      • Observation: Mouse droppings observed in back room storage area along wall surface where flour is stored as well as where overstock is stored. Droppings also observed on floor below dry food storage shelving. No signs of product being damaged by chewing. No droppings observed inside store in flour/sugar/pet food storage areas.
      • Corrective Action(s): Call pest control company (Done at time of inspection). Clean and disinfect all affected areas as discussed with store Manager.
      • Discuss cleaning procedures with staff/store janitors. Bins in dry food area need to be pulled out and floor vacuumed on a regular basis ie weekly. Back store area floor under shelving needs to be cleaned on a regular basis ie weekly.
