- 16(1) An operator must comply with all reasonable directions given by an inspector under the Act and these regulations.

- 19(1)(e) A food establishment must be located, designed, constructed and maintained to ensure all of the following:
(e) that there is effective protection to prevent the access and sheltering of insects, rodents and other pests.
- In accordance with Section 2.17 of the NS Food Retail and Food Services Code, you must ensure exterior openings are protected against the entry of pests.Address issues identified by certified pest control company / operator. Pest proof facility and seal all points of entry.

- 19(1)(e) A food establishment must be located, designed, constructed and maintained to ensure all of the following:
(e) that there is effective protection to prevent the access and sheltering of insects, rodents and other pests.
- In accordance with Section 4.3.3 of the NS Food Retail and Food Services Code, you must immediately treat the presence of pests by inspecting and discarding any adulterated food. Gnawed pre-packaged food (Mr. Noodle) observed to be displayed on shelf. This was removed and disposed of on site.

- Observed rodent droppings on floor throughout the facility, along and between isles, along walls, and on sales floor shelving. Cleaning required for: sales floor food shelving and facility floors. Ensure hard to reach areas contaminated with rodent droppings throughout facility are properly cleaned. Have pest control in asap. Provide pest control records. In accordance with Section 4.3.2 of the NS Food Retail and Food Services Code, you must ensure:a. Pest control devices that are used are designed and located to effectively control the presence of pests in a food premises.b. d. Eradication of uncontrolled pests is carried out by a certified pest control operator utilizing approved chemicals and methods.
