- The owner and operator ensures that the information prescribed by the Regulation is available for inspection by any member of the public upon request.
- Owner / operator must provide a copy of every directive issued.
- The owner and / or operator of the SDWS takes and submits to a laboratory, at least one distribution sample every three months and / or as prescribed by the directive.
- Owner/operator must take at least one distribution sample every three months during operation.
- Distribution samples must be tested for Escherichia coli and total coliforms.
- The owner or operator of the SDWS submits a required drinking water sample for testing within the regulated timeframe prescribed by the Regulation.
- Bimonthly drinking water samples must be taken at least 40 days and not more than 80 days after a sample was taken in the two months.
- Every owner and operator follows the requirements made in the most recent directive issued.
- The owner / operator must follow the sampling and testing section of the most recent, effective directive.
- Every owner and operator complies with all sampling, testing, monitoring and reporting requirements.
- Every owner and operator maintains the SDWS in a safe and sanitary condition.
- The water provided by the system must meet the requirements established by Ontario Regulation 319/08 - Small Drinking Water Systems or the Ontario Regulation 169/03 - Ontario Drinking Water Quality Standards.
- Every owner and operator ensures that, the SDWS is operated in accordance with the requirements under Ontario Regulation 319/08 at all times.
- The owner and operator ensures that the information prescribed by the Regulation is available for inspection by any member of the public upon request.
