- A package of raw chicken was stored in a cooler above ready-to-eat snack packs. Reportedly, package of chicken was on the way to the freezer and personnel was interrupted.*Be aware to not store raw meat above ready-to-eat food at any time to protect food from contamination.
- 19. Does the facility have a valid permit and does the facility operate in compliance with the conditions of that permit, or is the facility awaiting approval prior to operation?
- Meat is occasionally portioned into smaller quantities and repackaged at the inspected community hall kitchen. Food handling permit conditions do not reflect the current practice. Will coordinate with Owner to update food handling permit to reflect the current practice.
