      • Observation: A gas-powered cooking stove has been installed in a small sub-room off of the kitchen at the back right of the kitchen. There is no vent hood above it, and the wall appears unsuitable for heat protection. This area has been constructed without health approval, and likely without City Building/Fire Department approval
      • Corrective Action(s): Immediately cease use of this cooking area. Fraser Health would not allow this area to be used as designed, as it is difficult to clean, has no method of venting moisture/odoru, and is not of suitable materials/design for easily cleaning. The City Building Department/Fire Department may also have significant concerns regarding the design. You will need to completely remove this cooking area by Feb 24, 2026 or earlier if the City requires it to be removed quicker.

      • Observation: Some minor mice activity noted in the front area behind chest freezers, and a few droppings noted under the 2 compartment sink. No professional pest control company is present on-site
      • Corrective Action(s): Obtain a professional pest control company to provide at least monthly service to your facility. Obtain this company by Feb 24, 2026. Keep copies of pest control technician reports at your facility for review.
