      • There was a small single-use brush and spoolie used for eyebrows stored on the utility cart and appears to have been used. The operator stated they were reusing the brush and spoolie for the eyebrows. The small brush and the spoolie are single-use items and must be disposed after use. The operator discarded the small brush and spoolie at the time of the inspection.

      • There was wax residue on the tweezers. Reusable tools and equipment must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected prior to use. Ensure the tools are visually inspected for debris/residue prior to use. The operator cleaned and disinfected the tweezers at the time of the inspection.
    • 26. Are cosmetic products appropriate for their intended use and being handled properly?
      • There was a box with cotton swabs stored inside and several cotton swabs were contaminated by cosmetic products. Tools and equipment must be stored in a manner that protects it from contamination. Ensure the storage container is maintained in a clean and sanitary manner. The operator disposed the contaminated cotton swabs and cleaned and disinfected the storage container at the time of the inspection.

      • There was wax residue on the shelves where the extra supplies were stored. Ensure storage areas are maintained in a clean and sanitary manner to protect equipment and tools from contamination. Thoroughly clean the indicated area.
