    • 209 - Food not protected from contamination [s. 12(a)]
      • Observation: (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION) Onion, Beets and Potatoes boxes were stored on the ground. *Keeping food on the floor poses a health risk due to exposure to bacteria, dust, pests and cleaning chemicals.
      • Corrective Action: Ensure all food products are kept 15cm/6 inch from the floor.
    • 305 - Conditions observed that may allow entrance/harbouring/breeding of pests [s. 26(b),(c)]
      • Observation: (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION) Cracks were observed in the screen door. *Cracks in the screen door led to inadequate pest control.
      • Corrective Action: Operator temporarily fixed the crack using tape during the inspection. The operator must ensure that screen gaps are properly fixed and replace the screen as required to maintain effective pest control.
