      • Pest control checklists/records were not on site at the time of inspection. Please ensure that pest control records are maintained.

      • The bleach spray bottle was not labelled. This was corrected at the time of inspection. Please ensure that chemical and sanitizer bottles are labelled to prevent cross contamination.

      • Bleach test strips were not available. Please ensure you have chlorine test strips to test the sanitizer concentrations.

      • Chlorine sanitizer test strips were not observed.Please ensure chlorine test strips are obtained. As discussed during inspection, ensure 100ppm chlorine/bleach sanitizer solution is used for the kitchen.
    • 13. Are properly operating hand washing sink(s) accessible to food handlers, located in suitable areas, and stocked with appropriate hand washing supplies?
      • The paper towel holder at the handwashing sink in the kitchen was empty. The staff refilled the holder during inspection.Ensure the handwashing sink is always supplied with soap, paper towel, hot and cold running water.
    • 16. Is the facility free of unapproved animals, vermin and/or insects (unless noted elsewhere), and maintained to prevent the entry or harbourage of pests?
      • Pest control records were not observed. Implement and maintain a monthly pest check and ensure records are kept for review during inspection. A template will be sent with this report.
    • 22. Are utensils and equipment maintained in a condition and a manner that ensures the safe handling of food?
      • The small microwave in the kitchen was unclean. Food deposits were observed inside the microwave. The staff cleaned the microwave during inspection. Please ensure all food equipment are always maintained in a sanitary condition.
