    • 104 - Repeat Permit not posted in a conspicuous location [s. 8(7)]
      • Observation: A valid operating permit was not posted in a conspicuous location at the time of the inspection.
      • Corrective Action: Valid permit must be available and posted in a location viewable to the public.
    • 308 - Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces are not in good working order [s. 16(b)]
      • Observation: A standup cooler located beside a chemical storage rack was observed without a door. Food items such as sourkret, which require refrigeration after opening, were observed to be stored inside the cooler. The temperature inside the cooler was recorded to be at 5°C.
      • Corrective Action: The sourkret was transferred by the operator to a functional refrigerator that maintains a temperature of 4°C or lower. Until the stand up cooler door is repaired, all potentially hazardous foods must be relocated to a working refrigerator that can also maintain a temperature at or below 4°C.
    • 309 - Chemicals, cleansers, & similar agents stored or labeled improperly [s. 27]
      • Observation: There was an unlabelled spray bottle in the chemical storage area and when questioned the operator was not sure of its contents and mentioned it was filled by an employee.
      • Corrective Action: Unlabelled spray bottles may lead to misuse of the chemical, cross contaminate and may lead to ineffective cleaning and sanitation of the food contact surfaces. The Operator was told to label the spray bottles to easily identify the contents inside.
