- 10. Is a properly supplied first aid kit provided and readily available?
- As per the 2023 AHS Child Care Guideline, ensure that a Type 2 Basic Small First Aid Kit (CSA Standard Z1220-17) is purchased and supplied in the daycare facility.This would be the appropriate first aid kit based on the fact that there are a total of 4 Staff (which includes the Office Manager) and also the fact that Staff reside less than 20 minutes away from the daycare facility.Moreover, observed a first aid kit which had the contents taken out of the original metal container and placed into an unmarked tupperware type container which should be disc ouraged since it cannot be verified what type of first aid kit it is.
