      • It was observed that there is an accumulation of items in the kitchen that are not associated with food. Remove all items from the kitchen that are not associated with kitchen ie. luggage, shoes, papers etc.
    • 16. Is the facility free of unapproved animals, vermin and/or insects (unless noted elsewhere), and maintained to prevent the entry or harbourage of pests?
      • Mouse droppings were observed in the dry food storage area. The operator has monitoring traps set up throughout the building. Traps did not display activity. Investigate the building and seal all entry points. Remove the mouse droppings wearing proper PPE and disinfect the shelving.No foods appear contaminated.

      • It was observed that cleaning is required on the dry storage door jam and unwanted items stored near the dry storage require organizing and removal. An extension has been given to complete this task. January 21, 2026 - New cleaning requirements:- Stand up freezer internal surface have an organic debris build-up. Clean this area now and on a on a routine basis.

The men's and lady's washroom have out of service hand sinks and toilets. Repair all bathroom fixtures and ensure they are in proper working order.

      • It was observed that a plastic bin filled with tools is stored directly in a food handling area that is not related to these items. Please remove the tools from this area and relocate.
    • 16. Is the facility free of unapproved animals, vermin and/or insects (unless noted elsewhere), and maintained to prevent the entry or harbourage of pests?
      • From the last inspection: Investigate potential pest entry points and seal.No foods were observed to be contaminated at this time.This inspection revealed a few mouse droppings on the dry storage shelving. No foods appear contaminated. All rodent monitoring traps in the area were checked and no activity noted. Clean the shelving now and on a routine basis. Place monitoring traps on the dry storage shelving. The facility is within an old building structure with potentially numerous entrance points. Continue to seek out and block/cover all entrance points.

      • It was observed that the following equipment and surfaces require cleaning:condiment bowls and plastic containers near the wok, stored plate shelving, metal strainers, front surfaces of the line ovens, all lids covering containers in the walk-in cooler, empty plastic bins in the walk-in cooler, dry storage shelving items, hot insert holding area, door trim at dry pantry entrance, metal rack shelving, metal file storage structure located on top of the refrigerator and the bottom surface of the stand-up cooler.

      • It was observed that uncovered spring rolls were stored in the walk-in cooler beneath the evaporator. This food item was moved to another location in the cooler and the food was covered.

      • Two old mouse droppings were observed in the dry storage area. Clean up the mouse droppings as per the AHS 7 Steps to Clean up Mouse Droppings document. The operator has pest monitoring boards in the pantry. Investigate potential pest entry points and seal. No foods were observed to be contaminated at this time.

      • New deficiency:There is a strong odor in the dining area. The cause of the odor shall be investigated and repairs shall be completed.
    • 21. Is the facility properly constructed and maintained in a state of good repair to allow for the safe and sanitary handling of food?
      • At the risk management inspection water was not leaking from the ceiling. It was discussed with the restaurant operator and building owner that repairs had been completed on the roof. Please continue to monitor and make repairs as necessary. Ceiling tiles shall be replaced when it is determined the deficiency is fully corrected.
