      • There was a significant cockroach infestation in the food establishment with dead cockroaches of various life cycles on pest control glue boards. Several live cockroaches were noted around the dish washing area.Requirement:Please contact a pest control terminator to inspect, treat, and eliminate the food premises of all pests, namely cockroaches and provide a report from the pest control management company to the health inspector outlining the control measures and future pest management plan.

      • A container of packaged salmon and a container of packaged beef were sitting side by side in the prep sink being thawed under warm running water.This is not an acceptable thawing method.Products must be thawed in the cooler OR under continuously running cold water.If thawing under cold running water, do not attempt to thaw two separate protein products under one faucet. Packaged salmon moved to cooler at time of inspection.

      • Sewage had backed up through floor drain of the open concept kitchen area and was pooling on the floor. - Retain the services of a qualified technician to assess and repair all plumbing deficiencies and ensure the system is in working order.- Provide a plumbing report detailing the cause of the back-up and the work undertaken to remediate the deficiencies.- Clean and disinfect areas and surfaces affected by the sewage back up.
