   • 302 - Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces not properly washed and sanitized [s. 17(2)]
     • Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION):
     • Quats sanitizer in cloth buckets was 100ppm. The strength of the Quats sanitizer is too low to kill germs.
     • Corrective Action(s):
     • Immediately replace the old sanitizer with new sanitizer and monitor the strength using test strips. The sanitizer shall be replaced frequently enough, to ensure the strength is 200ppm. During the inspection, staff changed the sanitizer.

     • Observation:
     • Observed a large number of fruit flies or drain flies in the front corner by the single cup coffee making machine. Flies transfer germs on the bottom of their feet.
     • Corrective Action(s):
     • Deep clean with hot water and soap and then sanitize all surfaces, undersides, cupboards, walls and floors in these areas. Increase the frequency this is happening. Speak to your professional pest control company about having the floor drains treated on a regular basis.
