      • "Reoccurring violation"Lemon bleach was being used for sanitizing dishes and food contact surfaces.Lemon bleach is not safe for food contact surfaces. Obtain either plain bleach or another food contact surface sanitizer approved by Health Canada.

      • A bowl of garlic oil was left at room temperature for more than 2 hours, measured more than 20C.- Discarded.

      • Lemon bleach was being used for sanitizing dishes and food contact surfaces.Lemon bleach is not safe for food contact surfaces. Obtain either plain bleach or another food contact surface sanitizer approved by Health Canada.
    • 13. Are properly operating hand washing sink(s) accessible to food handlers, located in suitable areas, and stocked with appropriate hand washing supplies?
      • A wiping cloth bucket of soap and a wiping cloth bucket of sanitizer were being stored in the basin of the hand wash sink, completely blocking the basin.The hand wash sink must be kept free of obstructions at all times in order to accommodate proper handwashing.
    • 13. Are properly operating hand washing sink(s) accessible to food handlers, located in suitable areas, and stocked with appropriate hand washing supplies?
      • The cold water tap for the hand wash sink was non-functional. Repair the hand wash sink to restore cold water.
    • 16. Is the facility free of unapproved animals, vermin and/or insects (unless noted elsewhere), and maintained to prevent the entry or harbourage of pests?
      • Cockroach frass (feces) was observed in gaps in the walls as well as behind a poster on the wall, along conduit and in gaps in the wall.Clean up cockroach feces. Monitor for further activity. Ensure that adequate pest control is taking place in the facility.
    • 16. Is the facility free of unapproved animals, vermin and/or insects (unless noted elsewhere), and maintained to prevent the entry or harbourage of pests?
      • A few mouse droppings were observed on the floor behind equipment on the cookline. A few droppings were observed behind the cooler.Clean up mouse droppings and monitor for further activity. Ensure that adequate pest control is taking place in the facility.
