      • Please ensure all shelving is secured to the walls. These were pointed out to staff during the inspection.PHOTOGRAPHS PROVIDED VIA EMAIL INDICATE SHELVING UNITS SECURED TO THE WALL USING ANCHORING HARDWARE; HOWEVER, STRUCTURAL ATTACHMENT TO WALL STUDS OR AN EQUIVALENT LOAD-RATED ANCHORING SYSTEM COULD NOT BE VERIFIED FROM THE AVAILABLE IMAGES. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION REQUESTED TO CONFIRM COMPLIANCE WITH ANTI-TIP SAFETY REQUIREMENTS.Lysol with a 10 minute contact time for disinfection is not appropriate for diapering. Please switch the disinfectant as discussed. CORRECTED ADVISED AT TIME OF INSPECTION THAT A BLEACH AND WATER SOLTUION WILL BE USED.

      • I appreciate that space is limited; however, the storage areas are starting to become disorganized again. I recommend sorting through these areas to restore order. You did a great job organizing them previously, and I encourage revisiting this to help maintain a well-organized space. CORRECTEDPlease touch up the walls and baseboards where paint has been removed, as exposed drywall cannot be effectively cleaned and sanitized. OUTSTANDING

      • Please clean up from the dog each day. Droppings observed next to the path and one on the path leading up to the daycare.

      • The fire extinguisher in the change room needs to be secured on the wall. At the time of inspection, I observed it sitting on the floor.There are several containers of Lysol Wipes underneath the sink in the change room. These need to be out of reach of the children or in a locked cupboard.The large shelving unit in the play area needs to be secured to the wall.

    • 03. Are clients at this facility being protected from hazards (Critical)?
      • Shelving units in the play areas need to be secured to the wall. OUTSTANDINGShelving units throughout the establishment were observed to not be secured to the walls. The wicker unit that was requested to be removed from the premises during my last inspection was observed on the front porch leading into the daycare.On of the shelving units in the sleeping room was observed with the back coming off and nails were observed sticking out at ground level. REPAIR OR REMOVE FROM PREMISES IMMEDIATELY
    • 25. Are there adequate storage areas sufficient for the operation of the facility?
      • The entire premises needs a thorough cleaning and organization. Throw out or donate items not needed. This needs to be completed before Christmas. I recommend working on one room/space at a time so it does not become overwhelming or having parents come in for a weekend to clean and organize a room. The extinguisher needs to be properly secured to the wall.
    • 26. Are proper measures being taken to ensure that vermin do not enter or exist in the facility (Critical)?
      • Mouse droppings were observed in the kitchen pantry. Two traps were set (please place along the wall as discussed). I was advised the kitchen was thoroughly cleaned however the mouse droppings in the pantry were not cleaned up so either the kitchen was not thoroughly cleaned or there is still a problem. A pest control plan should be developed.
    • 31. Are general nuisance conditions, other than those noted in other violations, being prevented at this child care facility (Critical)?
      • The extinguisher needs to be secured to the wall.Damaged shelving needs to be repaired or removed from the premises.
