      • The bleach sanitizer is noted at 200 ppm.Ensure during an outbreak a 1000 ppm bleach sanitizer is used for disinfection. To mix a 1000 ppm bleach solution: mix 20 ml of bleach in 1L of water. Staff mixed the bleach at the time of the inspection.
    • 09. Are properly operating hand washing sink(s) available in suitable location(s), and properly stocked with handwashing supplies?
      • 1. Toys in a bin are in the handwashing sink in the four-year-olds room.1. Ensure the designated handwashing sink is unobstructed at all times for proper hand hygiene.The bin with toys was removed by staff during the inspection.2. An apron is hanging off the paper towel dispenser and over the paper towel dispenser knob, making it difficult to dispense paper towel, and posing a potential contamination hazard. Ensure:-the paper towel dispenser is easily accessible at all times for proper hand hygiene.-aprons are stored in a manner that prevents potential contamination.The apron was moved by staff.

      • Uncleanable craft supplies are still available to children during the outbreak.Until the outbreak is declared over, ensure shared items such as craft supplies, books and puzzles that cannot be cleaned and disinfected are removed. Staff removed the craft supplies. Further recommendations until the outbreak is declared over: -To maintain hygiene and prevent germ spread, please keep stuffed animals at home.-Use of laminated paper and washable markers for craft time.-Have individual bins labelled with a child's name for craft time.
