    • 21. Is the facility properly constructed and maintained in a state of good repair to allow for the safe and sanitary handling of food?
      • The caulking around the sink - at the junction of the countertop and wall is in disrepair. Please remove the old caulking, clean the area well, let it dry and reapply caulking that is designed for kitchen surfaces. The counter tops and bull nosing on the kitchen counters and island are becoming worn in spots and should be repaired/replaced in the near future. You do not have to have a stainless surface, rather any continuous surface that is meant for kitchen applications - that is smooth, easy to clean and impermeable to moisture will work ie. new Arborite/laminate is fine. Floors, walls and ceilings are in good repair - smooth, easy to clean and impermeable to moisture. Please have caulking re-done by April 4, 24. Please look at having counter tops redone within the next year.
