- Observation(s): The stand-up ice cream freezer, Little Hobo takeout fridge, fridge containing eggs, and both ice cream deep freezers are missing internal thermometers, which are necessary for accurately monitoring the temperature of potentially hazardous foods. Ensure thermometer are provided for these units by April 21, 2025.

- Observation(s): Observed gaps at the bottom of the back receiving door. Weather stripping or other physical barriers are necessary at all entrances to prevent against the entry of pests, which may carry pathogenic organisms that can contaminate food and food contact surfaces. Please install a weather strip to fill the gaps and send a photo to the EHO once complete.

- Observation(s): No test strips available for measuring sanitizer concentration. No temperature logs observed for refrigeration units.

- Observation(s): Door at the back of the facility does not seal fully, gaps are visible at the bottom and between doors. Doors must have a tight fitting seal to protect against entry of pests.

- Observation(s): Storage space at the back around the janitors sink and adjacent room are cluttered and messy. Equipment and materials that are not necessary to facility operations must be removed from the premises. The facility must be maintained in an organized, clean and sanitary manner to prevent the harborage of pests. Observed and accumulation of dirt and debris in the janitors sink and surrounding work space. Work spaces and equipment must be kept clean to ensure sanitary operation of the facility.

- Observation(s): Back of store warewashing and storage area is cluttered with unused equipment/effects and requires cleaning to meet minimum sanitation requirements for a food store. Back of store door seal requires replacement (there is a gap that will permit the entry of pests).

- 4 - Are proper refrigeration, freezing and thawing procedures followed?
- Observation(s): Potentially Hazardous food items within the glass front "dairy" cooler, including containers of milk and pre-packaged cheese, pre-packaged & precooked refrigerated meats, eggs, were measured at temperatures ranging from 15deg.C to 19deg.C and upon returning to meet with the store owner 1.5hours later, this cooler was still not functioning. Owner was requested to empty this cooler and discard the referenced PHF items. Follow-up indicated to occur the morning of July 30, 2015.

- Observation(s): Breaker was tripped on the glass front dairy cooler - it was noted that electrical panel had recently been updated. Recommend that owner follow-up with electrician to determine the cause, to ensure that the circuit is not overloaded and to prevent re-occurrence in the future.
