      • Discussed pseudomonas isolated result with Stay Plus operator (Leon). Operator indicated that the pool is drained and scrubbed every week. Did also indicate that there is a small leak for which repairs have been arranged. Chemical parameters for this week were not known at the time of the discussion but will be reviewed.Advised closing the hot tub to the public until corrective actions are completed (leak repair, and the super chlorination, draining and scrubbing of the tub). A re-sample will be submitted on Monday, June 1st.

      • Turnover rate calculated was 22 minutes greater than the 20 minutes required for whirlpool with volume greater of more than 4 Cubic metres.Operator mentioned that the drop in the flow rate was noticed when the facility started using Automated Aquatic system for their pool operations.Ensure recirculation rate of the pool is maintained so that an amount of water equivalent to 100 percent of the water volume passes through treatment and is recirculated within 20 minutes for a whirlpool with a volume of four or more cubic metres.Advised operator on the following:- to check the skimmers to ensure water flowing through is being maximized.- contact Automated aquatic for any direction to fix the problem.

      • The water sample collected on October 16 came back positive with total coliform.The operator stated that there was no noted incident prior to sampling. Advised to check the chemical parameters and reviewed water sampling techniques.Follow the set protocol such as shock chlorination, if required.Submit a resample.
