- Alcohol was noted being used for disinfection of environmental surfaces. Alcohol is not a disinfectant. Use low level disinfectant to disinfect the environmental surfaces. Lysol wipes available in the facility were recommended to use for this purpose.
- 31. Are sinks accessible and used appropriately for the personal services provided?
- Hair wash sink was being used for reprocessing of non-critical items. Written procedure for decontamination of the sink prior to reprocessing of equipment was completed onsite.
