    • 04. Does the operator use approved methods for cleaning and sanitizing equipment, utensils, and surfaces?
      • Chlorine in a spray bottle was well above 200 ppm and bleached out a test strip. Solution was adjusted during inspection to 200 ppm.Please ensure solution is tested when prepared and each day of use.
    • 12. Are there adequate and properly operating dish washing facilities to effectively clean and sanitize equipment and utensils (unless noted elsewhere)(Non-Critical)?
      • No chlorine test strips could be located for testing the bleach solution. Test strips are necessary to verify the concentration of sanitizer used. Please obtain chlorine test strips.
    • 21. Is the facility properly constructed and maintained in a state of good repair to allow for the safe and sanitary handling of food?
      • Several strips of laminate have come off the edges of the cabinets, cabinet doors and drawer fronts. Exposed particle board is absorbent and bacteria can be trapped in the material. Please ensure the cabinets/doors/drawers are smooth, non-absorbent and easily cleanable.

    • 13. Are properly operating hand washing sink(s) accessible to food handlers, located in suitable areas, and stocked with appropriate hand washing supplies?
      • Hand sink was supplied but had been obstructed by some lids placed over it and food set next to it. Items were relocated. Please ensure the hand sink is kept accessible at all times so hand washing can occur easily when necessary.
