      • The pH measured by the EZ kit resulted in a measurement of 7.8 (after a 0.2 unit corrective factor recommended by the local distributor). This measurement may or may not have been completely accurate as the reactant pad on the test strip was observed to be distorted prior to usage. Nonetheless the staff member indicated that the pH probe on their automated monitoring system was replaced recently and does require manual adjustments periodically. The staff member noted that they will follow-up with the unit and will make adjustments as needed. The automated datalogging record did not indicate any major deviations in the last few days.
