    • 03. Are clients at this facility being protected from hazards (Critical)?
      • The storage room with accessible wires and equipment in the toddler area was found unlocked.The operator locked the storage room.
    • 06. Are proper protocols being followed in regards to client care?
      • No chlorine test strips were available for testing chlorine bleach sanitizer concentrations. The operator later provided photos of valid test strips.
    • 08. Is this facility properly constructed (Non-Critical)?
      • A large water stain and bulging were observed on the same ceiling tile. The operator indicated it was due to an issue with the air conditioning system.Please replace ceiling tiles affected and fix the underlying issue.
    • 21. Is the plumbing system adequate and being properly maintained (Critical)?
      • -No warm water was detected at the sinks in both washrooms near the kinder area. Water was run for a few minutes before taking measurements using an IR and probe thermometer. Water measured at 23C and below.-No warm water was detected at one of the sinks in the toddler washroom. Water was run for a few minutes before taking measurements using an IR thermometer. Water measured at 19.5C.Warm water should always be available for proper handwashing. Ensure all sinks are equipped with both hot and cold running water at all times.

      • Window shading was not adequate in the shared infant/toddler space. The curtains had been removed due to a recent paint job. Some shading was provided by dotted dimmer films applied to the windows. The operator later provided photos showing the curtains reinstalled.

      • Hand soap was diluted with water throughout most areas of the facility. Diluted soap makes handwashing less effective. The operator provided new soap.

    • 10. Is a properly supplied first aid kit provided and readily available?
      • - First aid kit in the Kinder room was inadequately supplied. Band aid supplies were only present. Please ensure first aid kits are adequately stocked with the necessary supplies to ensure easy access to first aid resources.
    • 18. Is the facility and equipment being maintained in a suitable manner (Non-Critical)?
      • - In the toddler room a kid's couch is in disrepair. The seated area is torn and is covered with duct tape. Please ensure the kids couch is repaired or replaced to ensure a smooth surface for adequate cleaning.
