      • 1) A bag of flour was found stored on the floor of the unit. The bag was moved off the flour during the inspection. Ensure that food is stored at least 15 cm to 6 inches off the floor to prevent contamination with food debris.
    • 08. Do food handlers ensure that food is protected from contamination (unless noted elsewhere)(Non-Critical)?
      • 1) Personal beverages were stored in food prep surfaces. The beverages were moved to a separate area designated for personal food items during the inspection. Ensure that personal food items are stored away from food prep areas to prevent the contamination of foods.
    • 22. Are utensils and equipment maintained in a condition and a manner that ensures the safe handling of food?
      • 1) A food grade hose used to fill the unit were found on the ground without an end cap. Ensure that ends of hoses used for potable water are cleaned and sanitized before use and have an end cap to prevent water contamination and a harbourage site for pests. 2) Utensils including spoons and scoops were found stored in an insanitary manner. The utensils were put in a separate container during the inspection. Ensure utensils are stored in a way that protects them from contamination.

      • Water pressure was not adequate.Please ensure that adequate water pressure is available in the mobile unit.
    • 21. Is the facility properly constructed and maintained in a state of good repair to allow for the safe and sanitary handling of food?
      • 1. A commercial ventilation canopy was not observed. Two open deep fryers were observed in the facility. Please either install a commercial ventilation canopy or acquire enclosed frying units. 2. A faucet at dishwashing sinks was not observed. Please install a faucet that can reach all three sinks.
