    • 10. Are food temperatures during storage and processing being controlled to maximize food safety?
      • Observed three (3) fridge/freezer units: Frigidaire freezer/fridge unit, GE fridge unit, and Classic chest freezer unit.As discussed, the existing small thermometers should be replaced with battery powered thermometers with large LED displays so that the reading can be easily viewed.Each unit should have an accurate thermometer in place for temperature monitoring.
    • 19. Does the facility have a valid permit and does the facility operate in compliance with the conditions of that permit, or is the facility awaiting approval prior to operation?
      • Observed expired 2024 - 2025 Food Handling Permit posted on the kitchen wall (behind the popcorn machine).As discussed, please look for the previously sent email back on August - September 2025 with attached food permit and then print and post.If you cannot find this email, please reach out to our Department and will facilitate the issuing/emailing of another food permit.

      • Observed expired 2023 - 2024 Food Handling Permit in the kitchen facility - subsequently, our Department will email a new 2024 - 2025 Food Handling Permit for the Association to print and post to replace existing expired food permit.

      • Washrooms (2) do not have any mechanical ventilation (eg. - exhaust fan to the outside).If practically possible, exhaust fans (wall or ceiling mounted) should be installed.For above requirement, this violation is still outstanding and has been confirmed not completed (as per inspection on September 14, 2023).
