- Observation: Food debris (cheese)/ residual of flour has been allowed to accumulate and stay overnight on slicer machine and the floors.
- Corrective Action: Ensure food waste, residual or debris are cleaned as soon as possible to eliminate food for pest/breeding of pests. Maintain the premises in a sanitary condition.
- 401 - Critical Adequate handwashing stations not available for employees [s. 21(4)]
- Observation: The washroom in the employee and public man's washroom had run out of soap and tolet paper. Hand hygiene is important to minimise the risk of cross-contamination which can lead to foodborne illnesses and outbreaks.
- Corrective Action: Ensure that public and/or employee washrooms are fully stocked with running warm water, soap and paper towels.
